6/13/2026 – I did my first harvest of 2026 yesterday so I will be back at markets soon. I will get my 2026 market calendar on the website ASAP so you know where to find me. Once I have started bottling I will restock the honey hut as well, but currently it has 2025 tasting flights and 8 oz bottles available.
Becky’s Birds and Bees is a small apiary business harvesting and selling local honey produced by bees raised in SE Michigan. I hope you will use my web site to learn more about me, the farm and beekeeping in general. Look for information about my beekeeping philosophy and my honey at the About and Honey tabs, learn about the land I am beekeeping on at the Green Acres tab, and read stories about the happenings of the farm, and about beekeeping, at the Farm Stories tab. I sell honey from a self service stand at the farm when the weather is warm enough to keep it out. I will also sell at 3 farmers markets, Dexter, Chelsea and Whitmore Lake once I start my 2026 harvest.

If you are wondering about the ‘birds’ I also raise free range chickens and have added a handful of ducks, who are happily occupying my neighbors pond (with their permission, of course!) At this time I have enough established eggs customers to use all the eggs I am producing but occasionally a customer drops off, so if you would like to be on a waiting list, let me know.
