6/13/2026 – I did my first harvest of 2026 yesterday and am optimistic about being able to add a second in two weeks. I will be back at markets soon! I put my summer 2026 market calendar on the website so you will know where to find me. I have also put some 2026 honey into the honey hut. Also available there are some of the last 2025 seasonal tasting flights. Once those are gone, there will be no more until I have finished all of the 2026 harvests.
Becky’s Birds and Bees is a small apiary business harvesting and selling local honey produced by bees raised in SE Michigan. I hope you will use my web site to learn more about me, the farm and beekeeping in general. Look for information about my beekeeping philosophy and my honey at the About and Honey tabs, learn about the land I am beekeeping on at the Green Acres tab, and read stories about the happenings of the farm, and about beekeeping, at the Farm Stories tab. I sell honey from a self service stand at the farm when the weather is warm enough to keep it out. I will also sell at 3 farmers markets, Dexter, Chelsea and Whitmore Lake.

If you are wondering about the ‘birds’ I also raise free range chickens and have added a handful of ducks, who are happily occupying my neighbors pond (with their permission, of course!) At this time I have enough established eggs customers to use all the eggs I am producing but occasionally a customer drops off, so if you would like to be on a waiting list, let me know.
