11/2/26 – All my outdoor markets are done for the year. See my market calendar to find me at my winter markets, or contact me at the farm to pick up honey. As temperatures get lower, the honey in the honey hut is crystallizing quickly. I am putting some instructions sheets out there with honey that is already crystallizing. Once that is gone, honey hut pick up will require a pre-arrangement, so I can get honey out for your nearer to the time you anticipate picking it up. I still have plenty of honey to sell, and also some great gifting options, including my seasonal honey tasting flights, cute glass honey bears, and Winnie-the-Pooh honey pots (in honor of the 100th anniversary of the first Winne-the-Pooh publication in 1926).
Becky’s Birds and Bees is a small apiary business harvesting and selling local honey produced by bees raised in SE Michigan. I hope you will use my web site to learn more about me, the farm and beekeeping in general. Look for information about my beekeeping philosophy and my honey at the About and Honey tabs, learn about the land I am beekeeping on at the Green Acres tab, and read stories about the happenings of the farm, and about beekeeping, at the Farm Stories tab. I sell honey from a self service stand at the farm when the weather is warm enough to keep it out. I will also sell at 3 farmers markets, Dexter, Chelsea and Whitmore Lake.

If you are wondering about the ‘birds’ I also raise free range chickens and have added a handful of ducks, who are happily occupying my neighbors pond (with their permission, of course!) At this time I have enough established eggs customers to use all the eggs I am producing but occasionally a customer drops off, so if you would like to be on a waiting list, let me know.
